A metal batten fence is a frame structure, the spans of which are filled with metal pickets. Pipes with a rectangular cross-section are used to assemble the welded frame. The support posts are made of square-shaped pipes. The stiffeners ensure the strength of the supporting frame and resistance to mechanical deformation. Sheet steel is used to make metal pickets. The ability to adjust the distance between the strips allows designing a fence with any translucency. The main stages of the installation of an iron batten fence with full concreting:

1. Preparatory work. Shrubs, tall grass, and construction debris are removed throughout the site.
2. Site marking. The installation points for the supports are marked along the perimeter of the future fence.
3. Installation of posts. According to the marking, wells of the required depth are drilled, supports are installed in them, and pits are poured with concrete.
4. Mounting of rails. Horizontal rails are welded to the posts in two or three rows. The number of rails depends on the height of the fence.
5. Corrosion protection. The frame is covered with ground enamel and painted. The top of the posts is covered with plastic plugs.
6. Installation of pickets. Metal pickets are attached to the rails in a one-sided or double-sided way.

Depending on the type and characteristics of the soil, posts are installed using backfilling or partial or complete concreting. In areas with weak collapsible soil prone to frost heaving, supporting posts are replaced with screw piles with a welded or cast tip, which can be one- or two-bladed.
