Stages of installation of fences from welded sections

** 1. Preparation. Construction debris, trees, shrubs, and tall grass are removed along the perimeter of the site. If necessary, the old fence is dismantled.

** 2. Site marking. The boundaries of the site are marked with a construction cord with pegs; additionally, the installation points for support posts are marked.

** 3. Earthworks. Holes are drilled according to the marking and a sand cushion is poured on the bottom of each hole.

** 4. Installation of posts. Supports are installed in the holes, after which the holes are filled with cement-and-sand mortar.

** 5. Installation of sections. Mounting strips are welded to the posts, to which, in turn, the finished sections are welded.

** 6. Corrosion protection. The structure is covered with primer enamel, zinc-containing compounds, and metal paint. The fence posts are covered with plastic plugs from above.

A sectional welded fence consists of sections and support posts. Square-section iron pipes are characterized by high strength and resistance to end and axial loads. There are several more options for a base of a welded metal fence. Sections made of shaped pipes and steel bars are installed on concrete foundations with brick posts or on pile supports. The choice of foundation depends on the features of the landscape of the site, the type and characteristics of the soil, and the construction budget. A metal strip is used to attach the sections to the posts. It is welded to the supports at two points. And to the mounting strip, the panels are welded.

The panels are designed with a variety of designs:

• with a flat, arched, or shaped top;
• with filling of various patterns, from parallel bars to complex geometric ornaments.

The panels are decorated with elements of artistic forging, i.e. peaks, vines, linings, cones, curls, leaves, flowers, or baskets. Decorative details with a volumetric texture are used to decorate fence sections and mounting points. Sections are painted in the same color or forged elements are highlighted with special gold, silver, or bronze paint. In order to close the area from prying eyes, welded sections are combined with a metal shape or polycarbonate. The corrugated sheets are taken monochrome or textured, with an imitation of the wood texture. Cellular or monolithic polycarbonate with different transparency levels is used to fill welded panels. The translucency depends on the color of the sheet. A fence made of welded sections is the best choice for a country house or cottage.
